Since her first 'Birmingham' novel was published in 1995, Annie has written a new story almost every year, including Chocolate Girls, War Babies and Black Country Orphan, set around the Cradley Heath chain strike in 1910. Though not born in Birmingham, she has long felt like an 'adoptive Brummie' and remains fascinated with the city and its social history as well as its energy and sense of humour. Join Annie at Kidderminster Library to hear about her journey in writing, her fascination with writing about our neighbouring city and what's coming next for her. Free of charge, no booking required.
