Job Description:

Ìý

oÌýÌýQuality Management System (QMS):

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýMaintain, improve and implement QMS in compliance with AS9100 standards.

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýEstablish, maintain and improve internal Quality Procedure, SOP, etc.

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýPrepare and present quality reports and metrics to management.

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýPlan and conduct Internal process/ product Audit.

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýPlan, host and supportÌýexternal (customer, regulatory and other 3rd parties) audits.

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýResponsible for authoring and reviewing necessary technical documentation.

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýEnsure Masterlist of Document Register & customer data pack and specs are always updated and available in server.

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýTo ensure each personnel is competent to perform their work, andÌýthat their competency authorization is regularly updated.

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýTo involve actively in all Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities.

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýTo assist in setting up and implementing manufacturing process based on customer requirement in drawing & process specifications.

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýTo perform a gap analysis on the new potential manufacturing process and process specification change and efficiently cascade relevant information to all stakeholders.

oÌýÌýContinuous Improvement:

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýIdentify opportunities for operational efficiency improvements, process improvement, enhanced product quality, and cost reduction.

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýPromote a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the organization.

Ìý

oÌýÌýInspection and Testing:

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýResponsible for managing & supervising the QC activities performed by QAQC Junior Engineers / QC Inspector.

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýTo ensure all products delivered to customer meet relevant customer standards.

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýDevelop Control Plan, Inspection Plan, Inspection sheet, and Work Instructions (inspection operation) for new and existing project.

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýPrepare FAI report.

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýConduct and oversee inspections and tests of incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods.

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýEnsure inspection and test equipment used are calibrated.

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýPerform gage R&R studies.

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýAssist and support procurement team in getting the right quality equipment.

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýProvide technical support to technicians and engineers on quality-related matters.

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýPrepare and maintain quality records, documentation, and reports.

Ìý

oÌýÌýNon-Conformance Management:

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýTo drive MRB team to investigate non-conformance related to customer complaints/internal rejection/customer quality concerns/supplier, and analyzing root cause, develop and implement robust corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and manage the disposition of non-conforming products.

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýTo document non-conformance and ensure all records are well-kept.

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýCollect and analyze data related to product quality and manufacturing processes, identify trends, root causes of defects, and areas for improvement.

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýConduct SPC study for inspection reduction.

Ìý

oÌýÌýCustomer Interaction:

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýTo be focal point to liaise with customer/ new customer in quality-related matters.

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýEnsure customer requirements are understood and met throughout the manufacturing process.

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýTo coordinate customer complaints/quality concerns raised by respective project customer related to quality issue and response to the customer in a timely manner.

oÌýÌýSupplier Quality Management:

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýEvaluate and qualify new suppliers and conduct periodic audits of existing suppliers.

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýCollaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve supply chain quality performance.

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýMonitor supplier performance and maintain supplier quality metrics.

Ìý

Qualification, Skill & Experience:

1.ÌýÌýÌýÌýStrong understanding of quality management systems (QMS).

2.ÌýÌýÌýÌýLead auditor in AS9100 & ISO9001

3.ÌýÌýÌýÌýKnowledge of AS9102 First Article Inspection requirements and forms.

4.ÌýÌýÌýÌýProficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.

5.ÌýÌýÌýÌýGood understanding of CMM inspection principle.

6.ÌýÌýÌýÌýExperience with using various measurement & testing equipment to assess product quality.

7.ÌýÌýÌýÌýFamiliarity with precision machining for metallic, sub-assembly, heat treatment process, surface treatment process is added advantages

8.ÌýÌýÌýÌýKnowledge of statistical process control (SPC), and quality tools such as FMEA, PFMEA, and root cause analysis (8D, 5Why, fishbone, etc).

9.ÌýÌýÌýÌýAbility to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Ìý

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Manufacturing or related field) or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in quality engineering or quality assurance in a manufacturing environment.
