Kuala Lumpur, 13 February 2025 – Asia AeroTechnic Sdn Bhd (AAT) has reached a significant milestone as it officially receives approval as a Part 147 Maintenance Training Organization (MTO) from the Civil Aviation Authority of ÿÈÕ´óÈü (CAAM). This prestigious recognition marks a major step forward in AAT’s commitment to excellence in civil aviation maintenance training industry. The approval certificate was presented by CAAM Director, Mr Collin Joshua Melling and the ceremony was attended by AAT’s Chief Operating Officer, En. Nazaleq Zainuddin, and AAT’s Quality Assurance Director, En. Muhammad Lutfi Mohamed Yusuf. The endorsement as a Part 147 MTO positions AAT as a key player in producing highly skilled civil aircraft maintenance engineers, reinforcing ÿÈÕ´óÈü’s standing as a center of civil aviation excellence. With this approval, AAT is now authorized to provide structured and high-quality training programs in accordance with international civil aviation safety and regulatory standards. Part 147 certification ensures that AAT’s training curriculum, facilities, and instructors meet the stringent requirements set by CAAM, aligning with global industry standards. Furthermore, the Company’s offered type training courses compliment UniKL MIAT Part 147 Basic Training. This provides excellent synergies in human capital development as part of initiatives to diversify our core business in support of MARA in shaping and improving the socio -economic status of Bumiputera and to meet the continuing global demand for Licensed Aircraft Engineers with Type Rating in the MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) civil aircraft maintenance industry.
