Bikeability instructors have been out and about during Bike Week this week, giving children and young people the practical skills, understanding and expertise they need to cycle out and about in Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏͼ¿â.

Around 4,500 children from year four upwards benefit annually from Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏͼ¿â County Councils Bikeability programme in 130 schools. Training is delivered by the County Council’s team of qualified cycle instructors.

Bike Week (10 – 14 June) is always one of the busiest weeks of the year and training is taking place in 10 schools across the county this week.

Head Teachers are reminded to send their requests in for next year to: bikeability@worcestershire.gov.uk to ensure the next cohort of young cyclists get the opportunity to participate in the best cycle training available.

The County Council is also looking to recruit additional cycle instructors. Further details about this very rewarding role can be obtained from the Bikeability Team via the email above.

You can find out more about Bikeability on the County Council's website.
