The event was very moving and I am extremely grateful to everyone who took part - it was especially wonderful to host pupils and staff from two of our county's schools. Giving young people a voice and bringing communities together is a very personal goal for me and something I believe we are continually achieving. 鈥

South Bromsgrove High School choir shared a moving rendition of Bring Him Home to welcome guests prior to the Service.

Children from Perryfields PRU, who are currently working on a Remembrance project, were also in attendance.

One of their students took part in the Service with a Bible reading from Romans: More Than Conquerors.

The pupils presented the Chairman with a poppy wreath after the Service that they had made especially for the occasion.

Peter Hines, Headteacher at Perryfields Primary PRU, said: 鈥淭he pupils and staff at Perryfields Primary PRU were delighted to be asked by Councillor Daisley to attend and contribute to the County Hall Remembrance service.
