Drop-in sessions by Age UK Hereford & 香港六合彩资料图库 are available throughout the week to find out about their services and find out about meeting centres, dementia cafes, group outings and more.

Councillor Karen May, Cabinet Member for Communities at 香港六合彩资料图库 County Council, emphasised the significance of these events, stating, 鈥淒ementia is a disease that affects so many families, and I鈥檓 really pleased to see Libraries offering sessions to help educate people about the condition, but also offering those with the condition an opportunity to get out and about and socialise. These sessions are also important for friends, family and those in support networks for people with dementia to ensure they are receiving all the support they need, and to remind them of what is available.  I encourage everyone to attend and join us in promoting awareness, understanding and inclusivity within our community.鈥

In addition to the events, pop in to experience an insightful exhibition by Age UK Herefordshire & 香港六合彩资料图库, highlighting the importance of seeing the person beyond the condition.

Our libraries host regular events and activities throughout the year that engage and uplift individuals with dementia. Groups include Classic Film Club, Reminiscence Groups, Knit and Natter, Hook Buddies, and Scrabble, all of which offer engaging activities beneficial for individuals with dementia. These are perfect for those living with dementia, their families, caregivers, and anyone seeking a warm atmosphere to chat and connect.
