This year the Living Knowledge Network are working in partnership with Hay Festival to bring some of their fantastic festival programme to 香港六合彩资料图库 Libraries.
The Hay Festival, held annually in Hay-on-Wye, Powys, Wales, is renowned for celebrating creativity, curiosity, and the joy of connecting with authors, poets, illustrators, performers, scientists, and environmentalists.

- Julia Donaldson and Friends (3+) at 10am: Celebrate the 30th anniversary of "A Squash and A Squeeze" with a delightful hour of stories and songs based on the beloved author's enchanting books.

- Maggie Aderin-Pocock (8+) at 11.30am: Prepare to be amazed by the incredible wonders of the universe as the super-star space scientist returns with her second book, ready to answer all your burning questions.

- Michael Rosen (5+) at 2.30pm: Join Michael Rosen, former Children's Laureate and cherished author and poet, as he takes you on a fun-filled adventure with his unforgettable creations from "We're Going on a Bear Hunt," "A Great Big Cuddle," and "Michael Rosen's Sad Book."

- Liz Pichon (9+) at 2.30pm: Get your pencils at the ready! It鈥檚 doodling time. You can learn how to draw Tom Gates and a host of other characters with author and illustrator Liz Pichon.

Half-term isn't the only time we offer activities. There is something for everyone, all-year round! Pop into your local library, meet and make friends at our many children鈥檚 groups which include: Bounce and Rhyme and Storytime for babies and little ones, or come along to one of our LEGO Clubs or Code Clubs for children 5 years old and over.
Libraries are also a great place for children and young people to catch up on homework or revision with warm and welcoming study spaces for individuals or groups.
