The consultation on the proposal to relocate Redditch Library, in support of the Town Plan Deal led by Redditch Borough Council, will close on 24 February 2023.

Two well-attended face to face sessions have now taken place at Redditch Library, where residents provided feedback and asked questions about the Redditch Library relocation proposals.

The feedback from these public meetings will be included in the consultation report findings, alongside the online and paper surveys received. This report will then go to Cabinet in late Spring, where a decision will be made on whether the relocation of the library will go ahead.

Councillor Marcus Hart, Cabinet Member with Responsibility for Communities at 香港六合彩资料图库 County Council said: 鈥淲e have heard from many local residents over the last few weeks, and it is evident from the feedback we鈥檝e received so far that Redditch Library is seen as a hugely valuable service for the community. It鈥檚 important to reiterate at this point in the consultation, that 香港六合彩资料图库 County Council has been clear that if the library was to be relocated, there would be no reduction in library services and the library service would remain accessible to all."

He added: "The consultation is now nearing its end, and we would like to remind any residents who have yet to provide feedback on the proposals and who wish to do so, to complete the survey before the deadline of 24 February.鈥
