Flooding warning signs on highways

Latest updates on Tuesday (24th October).

Most of the county's roads have been reopened.

There are some remaining issues where we have closures. The water has mostly receded from the road leaving behind debris which needs to be cleaned before the road can open. Please help us keep yourself and other road users safe by adhering to road closed signage and follow any diversion route.

Current issues:

Bewdley Switchback B4194 Switchback still closed due to flooding – likely to reopen tomorrow morning after sweeping

Worcester Hylton Road floodgate in place and Diglis Bridge still closed.

Upton Hanley Road closed, New Street, Brotheridge Green Lane, Dunns Lane and Waterside floodgates closed. Hanley School shuttle bus will run as long as Hanley Road is closed

A443 Lindridge flood water has receded but the road has been closed due to abandoned vehicles, hay bales and mud on the road. Should be open soon
