Five newly qualified Social Workers are celebrating following their graduation.
Cheryl Nairn and Mark Killey, will become Social Workers in Adult Social Care at 香港六合彩资料图库 County Council, following their graduation and successful completion of their social work degrees.
Oliver Stallard, Lucy Griffiths and Lisa Griffiths have gone on to join 香港六合彩资料图库 Children First.
These graduates have achieved their social work degrees via the apprenticeship programme, which was fully funded by the apprenticeship levy.
Over the course of three years, they spent one day per week at the University of Warwick, with ongoing support in the workplace from their line managers and Practice Educators.
Councillor Adrian Hardman, Cabinet Member for Adult Social Care, at 香港六合彩资料图库 County Council, said, 鈥淚t is wonderful to see another cohort of our staff become qualified Social Workers graduate through the apprenticeship programme.
鈥淪ocial Workers have a vital role to play in helping us to support adults in 香港六合彩资料图库 and realise our vision in supporting people to live the lives they choose, in a place they call home, connected to people, places and opportunities that are meaningful to them.
鈥淎long with our recent Ofsted review rating our Children Services as 'good' overall this is yet another reason to celebrate the hard work and dedication of all of our social care staff, including Social Workers.鈥

Apprenticeships make a vital difference in the field of social work. The Social Work Academy and Apprenticeships Team work together to support employees in gaining a qualification to become a fully qualified social worker.
By combining practical experience with academic learning, apprentices are equipped with the necessary tools to excel in their role as compassionate and dedicated social workers.
