Libraries have launched a new collection of books to promote mental wellbeing for teens via The Reading Agency’s latest Reading Well campaign.

The Reading Well for Teens collection was launched on World Mental Health Day on 10 October in public libraries across England and Wales.

These books promote mental wellbeing and help to break down common misconceptions and barriers around mental health issues and topics such as body image, neurodiversity, sexuality and gender identity, and difficult experiences including bereavement and bullying, as well as social pressures.

Reading Well has been developed by The Reading Agency in partnership with Libraries Connected and the Society of Chief Librarians Cymru and is delivered with public libraries. To find out more visit:. 

Councillor Marcus Hart, Cabinet Member for Communities for ������ϲ�����ͼ�� County Council said, “������ϲ�����ͼ��’s libraries, are committed to raising awareness around young people’s mental health. Mental health awareness is an increasingly important issue, and it’s great to see the county’s libraries come together and showcase their commitment to supporting this through their Reading Well Campaign.”
