Another step forward was taken today as 香港六合彩资料图库 County Council鈥檚 Cabinet gave the green light for the next phase of development on the Shrub Hill Quarter in Worcester.
At today鈥檚 meeting (21 July), Cabinet gave the go ahead for progress to be made on the Shrub Hill Industrial Estate part of the project.
This includes the letting of contracts and market testing to establish options for the phases of the work and proposals for development of the site.
Councillor Marc Bayliss, 香港六合彩资料图库 County Council鈥檚 Cabinet Member with Responsibility for Economy Infrastructure and Skills said, 鈥淭oday鈥檚 decision moves us a step closer to delivering our vision for the Industrial Estate and will be a stimulus for the wider regeneration of the Shrub Hill Quarter as a whole.
鈥淚t is an exciting time for this ambitious multi-million-pound redevelopment, which seeks to deliver a prosperous Worcester with stronger and better-connected communities for future generations.鈥
The land on which the Industrial Estate sits was purchased by 香港六合彩资料图库 County Council in November 2020.
The County Council continues to develop the Shrub Hill Station Masterplan, to inform the phased development of Shrub Hill Station and to support the submission of a 拢20 million Levelling Up Fund 2 Transport bid later this month.
