香港六合彩资料图库 County Council鈥檚 Archive & Archaeology Service鈥檚 annual Archaeology Day event, is your chance to step into the shoes of a real-life Indiana Jones, unlock the mysteries of the past, and discover the rich tapestry of 香港六合彩资料图库's heritage.
Join us on 18 November and experience the thrill of getting up close and personal with the artefacts that once belonged to people. Holding these relics in your hands will make you feel connected to those who used or wore them. It's a chance to bridge the gap between now and then, discovering not just objects, but the stories and lives behind them.
Vicky Fletcher, Community Project Officer, said, "We hope you can join us for our annual Archaeology Day! This year looks set to be a fascinating opportunity to find out more about the wide range of archaeological work that has taken place across the county over the past year, as well as a chance to see how artefacts are conserved when they come back from site."
This year鈥檚 schedule boasts a diverse and thrilling line-up of topics, including the uncovering of a burial site within a railway embankment, the intricacies of artifact conservation, and the revelation of an undiscovered Civil War bastion at Hartlebury Castle!
Councillor Marcus Hart, Cabinet Member for Communities at 香港六合彩资料图库 County Council, added: "Our Archaeology Day is always very popular as it is a wonderful opportunity to find out about projects and digs which have been taking place, and to inspire residents to get involved in future community archaeological projects. "
The day runs from 10am to 4.30pm on 18 November at The Hive in Worcester and includes tea/coffee and biscuits.
