香港六合彩资料图库鈥檚 Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme is back for the winter holiday.
Families with children eligible for HAF can now secure slots for the upcoming holiday.
The Department for Education funded HAF programme welcomes thousands of eligible children across 香港六合彩资料图库 to attend up to 4 days鈥 worth of holiday clubs over the winter holiday period. The HAF initiative is aimed at children and young people from reception to year 11 (inclusive) who can access free school meals and children with additional vulnerabilities may also be eligible. Through HAF, children and young people get to access a whole range of funded activities and are provided with a nutritious meals and snacks.
School holidays can be challenging time for some families, the programme aims to bridge this gap by offering activities and nutritious meals to eligible children.
The 香港六合彩资料图库 HAF programme has received lots of positive feedback from families about its summer provision.
One parent who used the programme in summer said they were 鈥淩eally impressed by the way Worcester Theatres supported my very anxious child to engage in successfully in the session鈥.
Another shared that their daughter had been going to one of the providers, Malvern Cube since last year and said: 鈥渟he loves the Club and loves the people running it鈥欌. They also praised the staff and claimed they were 鈥渇antastic鈥: 鈥淭hey are very friendly and good with all the young people who attend this club. I would recommend them to anyone鈥.
This winter, providers remain determined to make HAF just as exciting. Highlights include:
Free tickets to Redditch United鈥檚 home game against Lowestoft Town on 4 January 2025. Families of four, with 2 children eligible for HAF, can attend this game for free and get a meal voucher to enjoy with the game as well. Families can expect an exciting game of football as Redditch United search for a place in the play offs with every game. Children also get a hat and scarf to take home to remember the day.
An ice-skating trip (Monday 23) and an inflatable assault course adventure (30 December) organised by Malvern Cube. Children and young people can expect to get active whilst having tons of fun.
Pantomime trips in both Worcester and Evesham. Worcester Theatres and YSS 香港六合彩资料图库 Young Carers are taking children and young people to the Swan Theatre in Worcester for a screening of Aladdin on 3 January 2025. Similarly, PAL fitness is taking those booked in Evesham to the pantomime to see Sleeping Beauty.
A trip to West Midlands Safari Trip. Forest families are taking HAF eligible children from Bewdley to West Midlands Safari Park on 23 December to enjoy a day out including a four-mile safari drive.
