Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏͼ¿â County Council (District of Wychavon – Evesham area) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2004 (Variation) Order 2024 [Prohibition of Waiting on Friars Mead Lane, Evesham]


On 7 November 2024 Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏͼ¿â County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following side and length of road in Evesham:

Friars Mead Lane - Evesham – (West Side) From its junction with Pershore Road for a distance of 38 meters in a northerly direction.

Friars Mead Lane - Evesham – (East Side) From its junction with Pershore Road for a distance of 9 metres in a northerly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.

The Order will come into operation on 28 November 2024.

The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
