Mint chocolate milkshake
Treat yourself to the ultimate milkshake at home – indulgent mint chocolate ice cream is simply blitzed with fresh milk. Serving in a sundae glass adorned with a dark chocolate rim and topped with mint sprigs take this milkshake recipe to the next level.
Ingredients: (serves 2)
- 25g dark chocolate
- 5 small scoops of mint chocolate ice cream
- 175ml milk
- 2g green gel food colour (optional)
- 5g mint leaves
- 5g dark chocolate shavings
Method:
- Melt the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a pan of simmering water. Dip the rim of a large sundae glass in the chocolate, then drizzle the rest around the inside of the rim, letting it trickle down inside the glass.
- Chill in the fridge to set. Blend the mint chocolate ice cream with the milk, then whisk in a little green gel food colour, if you like. Pour into the glass and top with a few mint leaves and a sprinkling of dark chocolate shavings.
