Tree Wardens

Tree Wardens

The Tree Warden Scheme is a national initiative to enable people to play an active role in conserving and enhancing their local trees and woods.

The scheme was started by the Tree Council and is managed by the Council.

Tree Wardens are volunteers chosen by parish councils or community groups. They collect information about local trees, get involved in tree-related issues, and promote local projects related to trees and woods.

Since the scheme began in September 1990, the Tree Council has worked with local authorities to create Tree Warden Networks across the UK. There are now over 8,000 Tree Wardens in the UK, with about 110 of them in 香港六合彩资料图库.
