Thank You

Our public engagement survey has now ended, but we want to thank everyone who took part for helping to shape our Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan (LCWIP) for Evesham.

All comments will be reviewed and duly considered. Whilst we are not able to respond to individuals, an Engagement Report will be published on our web page, including a summary of key themes and issues.

Our response to each theme or issue will also be shown in this report. Where appropriate, the draft Evesham Local Cycling and Walking Plan will be amended and following adoption, published on our website in winter 2024/5.

Proposed routes

These were the three routes that were recommended by our transport and planning consultancy, AECOM to be of the highest priority. They have been recommended to be delivered first as they offer the greatest benefit to the local community, encouraging more walking and cycling.

The prioritisation also focuses on areas with low vehicle ownership, aiming to create better, safer, and connected cycling and walking routes.

These routes serve key locations including Evesham Town Centre, Four Pools Industrial Estate, Vale Business Park, the De Montfort School, Bengeworth CE Academy, Evesham Community Hospital, Abbey Park, and Charity Brook Park.
