Lord-Lieutenant's Cadets
Each year, the Lord-Lieutenant appoints 3 to 4 young people to serve as her Lord-Lieutenant’s Cadets.
Cadets are drawn from the Sea Cadets, Army Cadets, the Air Training Corps and the Combined Cadet Force. They assist the Lord-Lieutenant as required (often on parade for Royal visits) and they act as ambassadors for their organisations.
The 2024 to 2025 Cadets are:
- Cdt Cpl Joshua Tobyn – Army Cadet Force
- Cdt LCpl Amelia Boyle – Combined Cadet Force
- Cadet Warrant Officer – Ethan Sheppard – Royal Air Force Air Cadet
- Able Cadet Rhys Smith – Sea Cadet Corps
