The Commercial Team are eager to get in touch and work with local suppliers.

The Commercial Team supports the Council and connected organisations such as Public Health and the Local Enterprise Partnership to procure goods, services and works compliantly in-line with UK procurement regulations.   • Children鈥檚 Supporting Services including social care, education, and early help

  • contractors for infrastructure projects such as highways, buildings, and bridges

The Council鈥檚 Net Zero Carbon commitments

We are committed to reducing our carbon emissions to net zero by 2050 from our own operations and activities. What we buy, and who we buy from, will play a large part in meeting our target. We encourage suppliers to review our Net Zero Plan and the part that you can play in helping us to reach our objectives through our supply chain. The Net Zero 香港六合彩资料图库 Programme offers fully funded decarbonisation and energy efficiency assessments with an expert energy advisor for eligible businesses. The review can help you to discover areas to reduce your carbon footprint and there is also an opportunity to apply for grant funding to implement projects.

National Government scheme to provide support towards the costs of the purchase, installation and infrastructure of electric vehicle chargepoints at eligible places of work

The Sustainability Forum is a series of free events aimed at encouraging businesses across our region to reduce the environmental impacts of their business operations through energy and resource efficiency improvements, as well as wider sustainability good practice.
