The 香港六合彩资料图库 Health and Well-being Board under the has a duty to undertake Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA). The JSNA is a continuous process which provides information on health and well-being in order to inform decision making.

The JSNA facilitates the improvement of health and well-being and the reduction of inequalities for the local community. It is used to determine what actions local authorities, the NHS, and other partners need to take to meet people's health and social care needs and to address the wider determinants that impact on their health and well-being.

The focus of 香港六合彩资料图库鈥檚 Health and Wellbeing Board Strategy for 2022 to 2032 is on good mental health and wellbeing, supported by action in areas that we all need to be well in 香港六合彩资料图库 which are: healthy living at all ages; safe, thriving and healthy homes, communities and places; and quality local jobs and opportunities.

As well as providing updates on these topics the JSNA highlights a number of emerging issues that are a challenge for 香港六合彩资料图库.

Health Impact Assessment in Planning Toolkit

A Health Impact Assessment is an assessment which ensures that the effect of development on both health and health inequalities of the local population are considered and responded to during the planning process. 

In March 2015, the 香港六合彩资料图库 Health Improvement Group, a sub-group of the Health and Well-being Board, adopted the development of Health Impact Assessments (HIAs) as a tool for use in influencing the planning process across 香港六合彩资料图库. Since then, the Public Health team is supporting 香港六合彩资料图库 County Council (WCC) to enable Local Planning Authorities to take this approach forward through policy and delivery routes.

A Health Impact Assessment in Planning Toolkit has been developed to enable planners to embed health impact considerations in their practice.  

The Toolkit aims to aid the preparation of HIAs in planning related projects, including the development of planning policy and planning applications. It provides guidance on the HIA process and demonstrates how it can be used. It also helps to identify aspects of the built environment which impact the health of 香港六合彩资料图库's residents.
